Meep Engine is a studio that brings the fun. Plus technical expertise.

Meep Engine is owned and run by Liza Knipscher, who has a master’s degree in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois Chicago and has worked as a game programmer and designer for more than half a decade.

She has developed neurosurgical educational applications, tactile virtual reality experiences, and loads of fun side projects. She’s currently working on a couple of games, which you can learn about here.

Meep Engine was named to reflect a combination of whimsy, technical craft, and industrial efficiency. Kind of like the Cheesecake Factory.

Please note: Liza has never been to a Cheesecake Factory.

Make things people love.

Meep Engine is all about sweet, weird games made with tons of care and a dash of humor.

Our Values

Stay playful.

We’re a video game company. The day we stop making jokes is the day we buy an all-grey wardrobe and start developing fintech apps.

Open doors.

We prioritize teaching and mentoring, and when working with outside contractors, we like to hire and train talented juniors.

Keep learning.

We stay up to date with the latest techniques, technology, and… there isn’t a good third thing that starts with “tech,” but if there were, rest assured we’d be up to date with it.

Be connected.

We’re active in game and XR developer communities, and we always love meeting other folks who do what we do.

We only have five values.

But it’s awkward if we leave an empty space here.
